For managers

Running the store, day to day

Your Home screen brings together what needs your attention today, and the tools to deal with it — without digging through separate reports.

Your daily briefing

Each morning, Khova puts together a short summary at the top of your Home screen: what's coming up today, and what got wrapped up yesterday. Read it and tap Noted to file it away — it collapses into a small header you can still reopen for the rest of the day.

Good to know It's prepared once, early in the morning, so it won't update again during the day. If a store has nothing to report yet, you'll see a short note saying so instead of an empty briefing.

Suggested actions

Below your briefing, Khova surfaces a row of things worth doing today, based on what's been happening at your store. Depending on the suggestion, you can turn it into a task for today or later, post it to your store's newsfeed for your team, or assign a training course to someone — or dismiss it if it's not relevant.

Good to know Suggestions are refreshed for the current day only, and dismissing one clears it for the whole store, not just for you.

Tasks

Every to-do lives on your Tasks page, sorted into Overdue, Today, Upcoming, Recurring and Completed. Add a one-off task with a due date, or set one to repeat daily or weekly. Home also shows a short list of what matters most right now, with a note on why it's there — overdue, due today, or part of a recurring schedule.

Good to know Tasks can also be created automatically — from a suggested action you've accepted, or from something you've logged by voice.

Recording with your microphone

Tap the microphone at any time to talk through what's on your mind — Khova transcribes it, and you can add or edit text before sending. It's turned into a task, logged as a note about the store, or, if it sounds like a question, answered right there.

Good to know You'll be asked to allow microphone access the first time you use it. You can also just type instead of talking, or mix both in the same note.
For employees

Staying in the loop and learning

Alongside your day-to-day work, Khova keeps you up to date with what's happening across the company, and keeps your training moving forward.

Newsfeed

Your store and company share updates, videos and polls on the newsfeed. Home shows you the latest couple of posts; open the full feed to catch up on everything, like or comment on posts, vote in polls, and switch on Unread only to see what you've missed.

Good to know Opening a post marks it as read, so it won't keep showing up in your unread count.

Academy

Academy is where your training lives — courses, learning paths and short lessons, with your progress and badges tracked as you go. Open it from the Academy tab, or pick up a course right where you left it from Home.

Good to know Locked content shows you exactly what to finish first to unlock it, so it's never a mystery why something isn't available yet.

Why didn't I get a daily briefing this morning?

Your briefing is put together once, early in the morning, for the store you currently have selected. If there wasn't enough happening yesterday or today to summarise, you'll see a short note saying there's nothing to report yet, rather than no briefing at all.

I dismissed a suggested action by mistake — can I get it back?

There's no undo for a dismissed suggestion, and dismissing it removes it for your whole store, not just for you. It won't reappear today, but a similar suggestion may come up again on a later day if it's still relevant.

What's the difference between checking off a task and it showing as completed?

Ticking a task box marks it as done for now — you can still untick it while you're on the same screen if you tapped it by mistake. It only moves into Completed for good once you navigate away.

Do I need to allow microphone access every time I use it?

No — you'll only be asked the first time. If you said no by mistake, you can turn microphone access back on for Khova in your device's settings.

Why is a course showing as locked in Academy?

Some courses only unlock once you've finished something else first. Tap the locked course and it'll tell you exactly what's needed before it opens up.

How do I see just what's new in the newsfeed?

Open the full Newsfeed page and switch on Unread only — it'll hide anything you've already opened.
